Welcome Home Mom and Baby

This week has been kind of hectic, Mom and Baby have come home and mom can’t do a lot because of the surgery but we are getting by… tired but getting by. The major issue is that sleeping is difficult. Not saying that Mia is a bad sleeper, she’s not. But she is a baby and babies need to eat every few hours. That being said she is a good eater and a good sleeper and doing great. My other daughters just can’t get enough of her and they so far have been great with her.
Also I would like to say thank you to everyone that has visited the blog, commented on facebook, watched the streaming video, sent us emails and has seen us in person. We appreciate your kind words and taking the time to make our special event even more special.
I’m going to try to post the video from the hospital on the site as well as upload some new pictures to flickr as well. Once again thank you all for spending this time with us.
Neil

Baby Day!!!
Well we are here at the hospital in the recovery room waiting to go into surgery. We have a great staff helping out. I’m writing this from my iPhone so I can’t spell check my work, oh no!!! Last night I bought a webcam to live stream the baby this evening, I’ll post the link later today. I’ll have picture on the Flickr acount and a video up on the sit asap. Stay tuned
Day 18 of 28 – 252.6 lbs – Hmm, One Step Back?
So for no apparent yesterday I weighed in at 252.0 lbs and I had a perfect eating day and I “gained” .6 lbs? Most likely it’s just water weight but I guess that’s why they say not to weigh yourself everyday… but I just can’t keep myself stepping on the scale in the morning. With all that being said, tomorrow is our big day… the baby is coming!!! With that comes “some” challenges and changes. One of the challenges is at the hospital my wife is having a cesarean) my schedule is going to be a bit hectic, so I won’t be drinking much shakes. I will most likely try to have something filling and healthy in the hospital cafe. And a change is that I will be having dinner with the kids as opposed to just having a shake for dinner. I want to have that time with the kids seeing as our life is going to be turned upside down for a while. We will see what happens as when the baby gets here.
’til later
